হুগলির জেলা সদর চুঁচুড়ার ভাঙা রাস্তার জমা জলে মাছ ছেড়ে অভিনব প্রতিবাদ, বিজেপির। জেলার সর্বত্র ভাঙা রাস্তা সারানোর দাবিতে চুঁচুড়া হাসপাতাল রোড প্রতীকী অবরোধও চলে প্রায় ঘন্টা খানেক। চলে স্লোগান-বার্তা বেহাল রাস্তা সারানোর দাবি চুঁচুড়ার ব্যস্ততম রাস্তা এই হাসপাতাল রোড। বছরের বেশিরভাগ সময়েই খানা খন্দে ভরা। ফি বছর সারানোর নামে চলে প্যাচ ওয়ার্ক। কারণ সরকারের হাতে নাকি টাকা নেই। খানাখন্দে ভরে থাকে সারা বছর। বিজেপির অভিযোগ, ঠিকাদার ও পুরসভার অফিসার কাউন্সিলরের মধ্যে অশুভ যোগাযোগের কারণেই বেহাল হুগলির সব রাস্তাই। মাঝখান থেকে বিপদে পড়েন সাধারণ মানুষ।
